SIST is an open space for exploring pedagogical – alternative learning experiences for students. They follow a perfect balance between Academic learning and Alternative learning experiences. It is an inclusive learning space. They strive to cater to diverse needs of students by ensuring that each student gets equitable access to the learning curriculum.Some of the accommodations that the school provides are special educator, individualized lesson plans, IEP’s, regular assessments, language exemptions, specially created worksheets, flashcards, educational games, graded readers and teaching aids, suited to various learning difficulties.,special accommodation during exams, etc.
The counselors try to make the parents understand that every child is born with their strengths and flaws.They provide holistic knowledge which allows children to grow into confident, competent and caring individuals, capable of making a meaningful contribution to their family, society and the world they grow up into.The SEN team goes by the motto, 'All children can learn.'
